If you are looking for change in flavors then you surely can give this parsi food a try! Its just next to HardRockCafe on ground floor. The brand name is not visible much so you can miss it but remember Hard Rock Cafe to locate the place.
SodaBottleOpenerWala has a really warm and cosy decor. The place has been built in a very contemporary Iranian style with a funky modern touch to it...It has a really nice and fun atmosphere. A full American style bar with a pool table. It has a casual and nice ambiance with a friendly staff. Though the menu is not very big, it doesn't fail to impress. The cocktails were amazing, right from their names to their after taste. The staff was very warm and they really impress you by suggesting the right thing if you are the first timer. .The waiters are patient enough to let you intrude them for a quick snapshot... We tried sinkanjwi which was nice blend of apricot fruit fusion, in cocktain ordered for bawaji nu thullu...the long island iced tea with punch of lemongrass was served in humungous proportions...too large for my tummy..but was good. Then came the keema pav, vada pav...a perfect beginning to our meal...the pav were soft and the keema was fantastically cooked, wada tasted yum served nicely in aluminium utensil...This was followed by the vegetarian berry pulao (the most celebrated dish in their menu)...it was cooked to perfection with the right blend of spices and sweetness of berries added an amazing flavour to it...Brilliantly made pulao it was!!!...a must must try!!!!...Next time for me for sure it would be bawaji nu thullu with berry pulao..perfect! We ordered for chicken sali, paneer sali..all were perfectly cooked. We ordered masala aloo fries for kids they loved it but the crispness and for that masala its must try with drinks next time.
Overall a wonderful experience for taste buds. Meal for 2: Approx INR 1800.Surely a must try for all who want to get a touch of south Bombay in delhi NCR...To conclude right from the entrance to the washrooms...everything has been done up in an attractive funky style with a touch of a typical Iranian household of south Bombay!!!...I recommend this place completely.
